Two North Las Vegas resorts within the Station Casinos empire are now officially extending their temporary hiatus longer than previously expected.
New details now reveal that Station Casinos plans to ask the North Las Vegas City Council to approve changes to the licenses for Texas Station and Fiesta Rancho, both closed since March when Gov. Steve Sisolak ordered all non-essential businesses to temporarily close to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The casinos are asking to move their non-restricted gaming, non-restricted gaming liquor, and full liquor licenses to non-operational through June 4, 2021.

Other casinos within the Station Casinos family reopened on reopened on June 4, including Red Rock Casino in Summerlin, Green Valley Ranch and Sunset Station in Henderson, Santa Fe Station in Centennial, Boulder Station on the eastside, and Palace Station west of the Strip, as well as six Wildfire properties when casinos were permitted to reopen in Nevada.
Station Casinos cites the “uncertain economic conditions in the state of Nevada” as the reason for requesting that both need to change their licenses. Both will remain closed until further notice, and there is no known reopening date at this time.
The move keeps Beaumont’s and Oyster Bar at Texas Station, along with Venom Bar and Cabo Lounge at Fiesta Rancho closed indefinitely.
The fate of two remaining closed resorts from Station Casinos — Fiesta Henderson and the Palms — remains unknown.
Sisolak closed casinos on March 17 to curb the spread of COVID-19. The Nevada Gaming Control Board issued guidelines to resorts to reopen that include maintaining 50 percent capacity, masks on staff, cleaning protocols, and social distancing throughout the casino. Casinos were permitted to reopen across the state on June 4.

ONLINE 2.1 LP Gas Dispenser Operations
This course covers proper filling and handling of ASME motor/mobile fuel containers, appurtenances, DOT cylinders, and dispenser operations.
This course is intended for new certification applicants. Section 9.52 of the LP-Gas Safety Rules lists each course given and the certification level for whiich credit is given.

Texas Station Las Vegas
Students that attend this class will take online exams following this course. Exams will be administered at individually designated times after the instructional period. Times will be assigned once all required paperwork has been received and registration is confirmed. Each student will need a computer and webcam to take each exam. Only one individual is allowed in a given testing space (one person per room) during the testing period.
Number of attendees for the course is LIMITED.
